ABOUT HENRY
Henry was discovered in a shelter in Shanghai in 2017. He had been bitten by a bigger dog, had open wounds, broken back and legs. He was paralysed and unable to toilet himself, thankfully he was discovered by a volunteer, put on a plane and flown from Shanghai to Harbin SHS Animal Rescue in Northern China. He spent 3 months in a clinic receiving intensive veterinary treatment. His injuries were so horrific that when the charity shared his story on social media, they were criticized for not euthanising. Thankfully they didn't give up on him!
I, (Sharon) aka 'The Momager' began following Henry's journey shortly after he came into rescue. It was impossible not to fall in love with him and be in awe of his determination not to give up. The decision to adopt him was not one I took lightly as I had no experience of looking after a paraplegic dog with such severe injuries however, it has undoubtedly been the best decision of my life as his resilience, strength of character and ability to make people smile is a joy to watch. He inspires people from all over the world to be the best that they can be! Generally he is an inspiration to everyone he meets, so to be able to share him with so many through his social media accounts brings great happiness and encouragement.
Henry now lives life in the fast lane on 2 wheels in Northern Ireland and works as a therapy dog. He is fully insured to undertake therapy work and I as his momager have an enhanced Access NI certificate with additional qualifications and various skills in support work.
When not working Henry loves a bit of 'ruff and tumble' with his siblings, is partial to an odd ice-cream and a bottle of 'Bottom Sniffers Brew' and sleeps soundly each night cuddled up to the momager xx
